Zipper Lube

After a day of riding through dust, mud or sand, the zip on your bag can start to stick. Enduristan zips are designed to be extremely rugged and waterproof, but just like your motorcycle's chain, they need some maintenance now and then. Zipper Lube is the secret ally of every motorcycle traveller.

Use

A small amount of silicone paste is enough to make a stiff zip glide smoothly again. Spread it over the teeth of the zip and open and close the zip a few times to distribute it evenly. Focus especially on the corners and ends where the zip meets the most resistance.

Tips

Lubricate the zips of your new bag straight away before your first big trip, to create a protective layer against the first dirt. Is your zip really dirty? Then first use a soft toothbrush with a little water and mild soap to remove sand and dust. Dry the zip and only then apply the Zipper Lube.
