Ambassadors

Riders who've been there

We don't believe in the flawless, cinematic perfection you see on social media. Real adventure is mostly a lot of wrong turns, broken spokes, damp sleeping bags and laughing (or crying) in your helmet for no reason at all.

The riders on this page are our ambassadors and our sounding boards. They are not superheroes who never make mistakes. They are ordinary people who have done extraordinary things: travelled the world for years, buried their bikes in deep sand, embraced the raw beauty of our planet and found courage and grace in the most unlikely places.

We support them and send them our luggage, because we know they will use it, abuse it, drop their bikes on it and tell us with complete honesty what works and what doesn't. They inspire us, and we hope they inspire you to get out there too.

These are the people who help us design our luggage, break it and rebuild it until it is ready for you.

Races2Places

If it has two wheels and can cross a desert, Lyndon has probably raced it, wrecked it and rebuilt it by the side of a trail. In 2014 he set off on a solo trip that was meant to be a quick one. Fifty-two months, 74 countries and 256,000 kilometres later he finally came home, having competed in nine international rally races along the way, including the Dakar, all on exactly the same bike: Basil the Bike.

Lyndon discovered Enduristan in 2017, shivering in Tierra del Fuego, when he spotted another rider with a tough, bone-dry tank bag. He ordered one on the spot to protect his cameras. Today he doesn't just ride with our luggage: he uses his technical background to help us design and co-develop new products. In his own words, the partnership with Enduristan is: “A marriage made in heaven… no, a marriage on my bike, while doing what I love. Enjoy your ride, #whereveryouride!”

Some people start riding as kids. Julie waited until 2020, bought a Honda Africa Twin that was completely unsuitable for beginners, and immediately decided that paved roads were mostly suggestions and that riding skills are best learned by falling over and getting back up.

She has taken the internet by storm with her brutally honest and hilarious content. Now Julie heads out into the world on two wheels with a goofy grin and an incredibly important, non-negotiable mission: to find and pet every cat on the planet.

Whether she is riding winding mountain trails on her Aprilia Tuareg 660, thundering along the gloomy tracks of the Black Forest on her father's classic 1993 Honda XR600R, or reporting live from ADV festivals and motorcycle shows, Julie's take on riding is… pure joy. She reminds us that adventure doesn't have to be deadly serious to be real. Above all it should be fun, a little muddy and, ideally, include a friendly roadside companion of the feline kind.

OUTDURO

Sometimes life throws you in at the deep end, only to show you a new path you didn't know existed. After a difficult time with a divorce and a feeling of aimlessness, Rihards bought a BMW G650X before he even had a motorcycle licence. His first days of riding consisted of dropping the bike, hauling it back up and starting again on the forest tracks of Latvia. Inspired by wilderness bushcraft and a love of campfire cooking, he decided to ride the entire Latvian border in two weeks, an off-road adventure.

Inspired by a certain Lyndon Poskitt (you may know this madman), Rihards fitted his bike with Enduristan luggage to carry his mobile kitchen.

That one trip changed everything: sleeping somewhere different every night, meeting different people and experimenting with roadside food made Rihards feel more at home on the road than in his own house. Rihards went on to found OUTDURO, an active riders' association and community that organises tough off-road events, teaches outdoor survival skills and runs a specialist adventure garage. He only tests and recommends luggage that can take a serious beating in the Baltic forests and beyond.

Melanie doesn't travel to escape, she travels to disappear off the map. For more than twelve years she has been exploring the quiet, wild and incredibly remote corners of the world on her trusty Yamaha XT, choosing wild camping and roadside hospitality over hotels.

She is currently on a huge 16-month overland expedition from Germany to Australia. For Melanie it is all about raw human contact, slow travel and finding the truth of a place beyond the tourist trail. She relies on luggage that can handle daily abuse, harsh weather and the unpredictable reality of solo overland travel.

Franco “Frankee” Restelli

Passionate photographer, two-wheeled lunatic and the media man you want to be friends with (or learn from how to tell stories with images alone). Frankee has probably tested far too many motorcycles for his own good, and is genuinely obsessed with content that matters, bikes that can take a beating and luggage that makes a difference. You'll find him on an obscure Balkan trail testing a strange new setup, travelling with breathtaking photos from places like Iceland, or tinkering with Spotify playlists for a specific kind of ride (maybe one day we'll persuade him to share his favourites).

Do you ride with Enduristan too?

Do you ride a lot, share your story or bring riders together? We would love to hear from you.
