RACKLESS LUGGAGE – BUILT FOR LARGE ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLES
At the core of the system is the Structural Center Piece, which rests on the back of the motorcycle between the two bags. This rigid, structural element distributes the load evenly across the motorcycle, stabilizes the entire system, and allows for adjustment of the Hailstorm 50's angle. This ensures perfect compatibility with a wide range of large touring motorcycles.
In addition to standard rear mounting, the Hailstorm 50 can also be installed by routing the system over the passenger grab handles. For the tightest fit and maximum stability, however, we recommend removing the grab handles so that the system rests directly and securely on the motorcycle.
The Hailstorm 50 is equipped with the CRR Breakaway System, designed to reduce the risk of damage and injury in the event of a fall or if the luggage snags on an obstacle. The CRR breakaway piece is integrated into the system and can be replaced if necessary.
Each bag features three patented Enduristan Standard Interfaces, allowing for modular expansion with additional accessories. The interfaces are located on the flap (1×3), at the front (2×2), and at the rear (2×4), making it easy to attach additional bags or accessories where they are needed.
Under the left flap, there is a drawstring system for quickly securing small items. Under the right flap, a zippered pocket offers protected storage space for documents or smaller equipment.
The Hailstorm 50 comes with perfectly fitting inner bags that precisely match the shape of the outer bags. This allows you to remove all your belongings at once without removing the outer bags from the motorcycle – ideal for hotels or at the campsite. The inner bags feature a handle and attachment points for an optional shoulder strap (not included).
To protect the motorcycle, the entire underside of the luggage system is equipped with removable EVA padding. Protective stickers are included to prevent scratches where the CRR system comes into contact with the motorcycle. Depending on the motorcycle and the position of the exhaust, we recommend installing an additional Inferno heat shield (not included).
Like all Enduristan products, the Hailstorm 50 is completely waterproof, dustproof, mudproof, and snowproof – an extra rain cover is not necessary – and specifically designed for use on a motorcycle.
