• Prevention is better than cure: Lubricate the zippers of your new bag immediately before your first big trip. This creates a protective layer against the first dirt.
• Clean first: Is your zipper really dirty? First, use a soft toothbrush and some water with mild soap to remove sand and dust. Dry the zipper and only then apply the Zipper Lube.
• Less is more: You only need a small stripe of paste. Distribute it over the zipper teeth and open and close the zipper a few times to spread it evenly.
• Focus on the corners: Pay particular attention to lubricating the corners and ends where the zipper experiences the most resistance.
